Neighborhood Vibe
The Neighborhood
Situated just east of downtown Nashville between Percy Priest and Old Hickory Lakes, Hermitage offers an ideal location for people who love boating and watersports. It neighbors and shares a Chamber of Commerce with Donelson which only expands the community-centric feeling of the neighborhood. The town received its name from President Andrew Jackson's home, The Hermitage, which is open today for tours.
The Market
Homes in Hermitage lean toward the more traditional side, with single-family homes dominating the market. One and two-story brick homes are intermingled with the occasional craftsman or French-country style home, bringing variety to the neighborhood.
The Lifestyle
Hermitage offers a wonderful variety of living, lifestyle, and recreational opportunities that make it a great location to raise a family in. Its proximity to both of Nashville's major lakes and access to several beautiful parks make the area ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Many of the area's restaurants and stores are widely known brands, but as the area grows, more and more unique eateries and boutiques are popping up.
