Neighborhood Vibe
The Neighborhood
Located near the southeast corner of Sumner County, Castalian Springs is full of history. Home to many historic homes such as Cragfont and Wynnewood, many Civil War sites, plus an important location to Native Americans in the Mississippian period, the area is full of culture. The town's name is also rooted in the past, changed from Bledsoe's Lick to Castalian Springs in honor of a life-giving spring from Greek lore.
The Market
Single-family homes dominate the market. Many lakefront options exist, too, as well as larger farms.
The Lifestyle
The area isn't just for history buffs thanks to its proximity to Old Hickory Lake and Bledsoe Creek State Park. Recreational opportunities abound here, both in designated areas and in your own backyard. The town is quite rural, affording you a quiet lifestyle and opportunities to make your own fun, but is just a few miles from larger towns within Sumner and Wilson Counties, putting the best of Middle Tennessee at your fingertips.
